Australia Promoting Wine Culture in Shanghai

More than 100 Australian top wines were exhibited in Exploring Australian Wines，which was held on May 12 in Australian Consulate, Shanghai.

The exhibition showed over 100 varieties, 50 brands of wines. Ms. Susan Dietz, the consule general of Australian in Shanghai, said, “ Australian wine is the world first-class wine with various styles and flavors to be explored by consumers.”

Mr. Christopher Wright, the senior commissionor of Austrade, said, “ In March 2008, Australia exported more than 1 million cases of wine to China and made China its biggest market in Asia.”

Austrade and AWBC will carry out a long-term education plan in China from July, including activities of wine education, trainings and promotion.
