VINALIES CHINA 2008 announced results

On July 1, VINALIES CHINA 2008 hold Award Banquet in Penglai, Shandong province.
Totally 260 wine samples from different countries (including China, France, Australia, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Israel, Switzerland and Tunis) have been tasted. 19 golden medals and 67 silver medals were awarded. France and China were the biggest winners, with France won 13 golden medals ,33 silver medals and China won 4 golden medals, 17 silver medals.
There were 18 judges in the competition and half of them were from China. The competition adopted international rules, all the wines were blindly tasted. The competition promoted the communication between Chinese wine industry and other countries, and provided a good opportunity for Chinese wine enterprises to show their products. VINALIES CHINA 2008 authorized the wines and will make them better accepted by consumers.
VINALIES CHINA 2008 was hold along with The Second China Wine Economic Annual Forum(CWEAF) ,which was organized by China Wine News.
