Moldova wine entered Hong Kong

Moldova wine attended Vinexpo Asia-Pacific 2008 in Hong Kong for the first time. Moldova producers including Acorex Wine, Dionysos-Mereni, Chateau Vartely, DK-Intertrade, Lion Gri and Vinaria Purcari, brought top-quality wine which attacted lots of visitors.

Organizer of Moldova wine said, "consumers from Hong Kong and Asia-Pacific know little about Moldova wine.  In Vinexpo Asia-Pacific 2008, French wines account for nearly 70%, other wines from Italy, Chile, Argentine take up the rest. But Moldova premium wine intersted many visitors. Up to now, Lion-Gri has begun to export to Hong Kong and South Korea importing Allinance also suggests willing to import Moldova wine.
