Hungarian Wine Route Rally

The "Hungarian Wine Route Rally" will be held for the 13th time in 2008. The aim of the event is to popularize Hungarian wines as well as the cultural treasures, gastronomy and tourist attractions in the country.

As in previous years, athletes, musicians, actors, business people, politicians and other public personalities will participate in the race with 160 to 270 horse power cars. During the three-day rally, the 120 teams of two racers will drive over 800 kilometers. The race stars and ends at the Parliament in Budapest. The first station will be Zalakaros, and the second Győr. Programs will include driving skill competitions and other "fun" contests.

The teams will drive Audi TT and TTS Coupes offered by the Győr Audi Hungária.
