COFCO Expediting Internationalization Pace by Olympic Games

As the exclusive supplier of wines for Beijing Olympic Games, COFCO ( GREATWALL WINE ) will expedite the internationalization pace of their premium Chateau by Olympic Games.

COFCO has launched a series of marketing campaign, including “ Beyond 2008 Limited Edition Reserve ” Wine collection , targeted with “ where there is Olympic Games , there is Great Wall wines ”.

“Beyond 2008” Wine collection comes from a chateau in China with a long history —— Chateau Great Wall Sanggan.

Qu Zhe, CEO of COFCO, told China Wine News that the Group will continue to promote the strategy of “ Buidling Chateau Great Wall in the best winegrape region all over the world” after Beijing Olympic Games.

Additionally, COFCO is going to present a barrel of wine valued at 300 thousand yuan to every Chinese Olympic champion.

Three bottles of “ Beyond 2008 Limited Edition Reserve ” Wine collection signed by Olympic champions will be auctioned. The Group claimed that all funds raised at the auction will be allocated to the national fitness project, supporting the construction of sports facilities in disadvantaged areas.

The Group also held “ COFCO Olympic Wine Label Design Competition ”, combined Olympic spirit, wine culture and Olympic dreams by wine label, and advocated healthy, elegant and quality life style.
