In the great south-west region (Aquitaine + Charentes + Gers), the potential wine harvest in 2008 should be equivalent to the 2007 harvest : roughly 46 million hectoliters, according to Vinifhlor. Of the 46 million hectoliters, 22 million should be classified as VQPRD wines of quality produced in determined regions), 17 million as table wines and 5.6 as wines suitable for the production of cognac and armagnac.
