Lon's at the Hermosa touts Spanish wines as Restaurant Week approaches

Lon's at the Hermosa Inn is offering sample flights of its Spanish Albarino wines at its Wednesday's Wine Tastings as Arizona Restaurant Week gets set for takeoff.

The Spanish wines are served with artisan cheeses and breads.

Lon's is one of numerous metro Phoenix restaurants participating in the 2008 Arizona Restaurant Week. To be held from Sept. 20 through 26, the event allows patrons to sample menus at top-tier independent restaurants, bistros and wine bars across Phoenix.

Participating restaurants will offer a Restaurant Week three-course menu featuring its signature dishes. The prix-fixe meals will cost $29 per person or $58 per couple, excluding drinks, taxes and gratuities.
