2008 Art of Food and Wine Palm Desert costs drop
Organizers have a full list of events for the 2008 Art of Food and Wine Palm Desert with some changes from last year's event, including lower ticket prices.
“We've had a really good response,” said Amy Harris, event director. “I think people really see the value in the event.”
The Nov. 6-9 event aims to bring the best of food, wine and art to the Coachella Valley and will include food and wine tastings, celebrity chef demonstrations, culinary seminars, art, music, shopping and golf.
Returning vendors and guests will notice a few changes this year.
Among them:
A lower ticket price of $150 for a one-day, all-inclusive ticket to the grand tasting. Last year that ticket cost $175, plus there were additional charges for some seminars and events.
A redesign of the event area at Desert Springs JW Marriott Resort and Spa promises greater accessibility and sophistication.
