Clombin Cup Yantai International Wine Competition Held Successfully
The Second Clombin CupYantai International Wine Competition was successfully held in Yantai International Expo Center on Sep24.
Qilu Reserve Ice Wine from Liaoning Huanren Qilu Wine Ltd. Co., Band of Brothers Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon 2006 from Band of Brothers won the special award.
More than 70 samples attended this competition, which came from wineries, distributors and agents all over the world. Import wines occupied almost 50%, they were from France, Germany, Austria, Australia and other countries. Domestic wines were mainly from Yantai, Gansu, Hebei.
The samples include dry wine, semi-dry wine, sweet wine, sparkling wine, ice wine, Brandy and etc..
The jury consisted of 15 judges, including national wine experts, journalists, representatives of wine distributors and wine bars and restaurants.
After 4 hours of tasting, 2 special award, 4 first prize, 6 second prize, 12 third prize, total 24 samples were selected.
This competition was held by Organizing Committee of Yantai International Wine Festival, China National Wine Quality Supervision and Inspection Center, Wine China.Com.
After the competition, the jury announced, it was an equitable competition, all samples based on a high level.
