Duplin Winery Announces Addition to Release of Popular Seasonal Wines
Duplin Winery, the oldest and largest winery in the south and producers of award winning muscadine wines, announces the release of its popular holiday wines.
Christmas Wine has become a part of the holiday tradition in many families. This festive wine is the most popular of Duplin’s seasonal limited releases and is a blend of North Carolina muscadines. The sweet berries laced with a hint of spice are perfectly paired with the season’s culinary delights and celebrations. Christmas Eve is also an annual, limited release and is now available. This crowd-pleasing wine is a smooth blend of Northern Catawba and Carolina muscadines.
This year, Duplin Winery is proud to announce the release of Santa’s Approval. Santa’s Approval is a limited-edition seasonal wine produced by Duplin Winery for Ducks Unlimited. This newest holiday addition is a sweet blend of Labrusca and muscadine grapes and has a dry finish. A portion of the profits from each bottle of Santa’s Approval sold will be donated to Duck’s Unlimited. Ducks Unlimited conserves, restores, and manages wetlands and associated habitats for North America’s waterfowl. These habitats also benefit other wildlife and people.
