Drink wine, help breast cancer patients

October is just around the corner and a local winery is hoping you'll raise a glass for Breast Cancer Awareness month. Two Rivers Winery hopes you'll buy some wine to help raise money for breast cancer prevention.

For the month of October they'll donate one dollar from every bottle of wine sold at the winery and in restaurants to Saint Mary's Breast Cancer Prevention Fund. The fund gives money to women who can't afford early detection procedures like mammograms.

Two Rivers Winery will be hosting a "Toast to Prevention" Saturday to raise money and awareness for Saint Mary's Prevention fund. Tickets to the toast cost 25 dollars and include hors d'oevres, a glass of wine, live music and prizes.

Most importantly, 10 dollars from each ticket will be donated to the Saint Mary's Breast Cancer Prevention Fund.
