According to Skovin, this winery will process 14,000 tons of grapes this year, aiming at full capacity, and it will also increase the production of high-quality wines.
By 25 to 30 percent more will be used from the total amount of grapes processed for the production of high-quality bottled wines.
The reason for this increase in the production of bottled wine is the increased demand from Skovin’s export markets.
According to Skovin, the biggest consumers are in the Russian market, the Czech Republic and Japan, while it is also quite successful in neighboring export markets such as Serbia and Montenegro.
The winery adds that this year the white to red wine ratio will be 60:40, as demand for white wines is on the rise.
