Alcohol flavour without the cost
Cuisinewine has added Poire Wiliams and Triple Sec flavours to its range of cooking wines and spirits to help chefs enhance their dessert menus.
Made especially for the professional kitchen, Cuisinewine’s cooking wines and spirits have a reduced alcohol content, but still retain the flavour of the alcohol, meaning chefs can have all the benefits, but without paying excise duty and VAT as they would with full ABV wine and spirits.
The latest additions have been chosen because they are ‘perennially popular’ in desserts and savoury dishes. “With all the same qualities and advantages as our other cooking spirits, these two new additions are sure to be firm favourites in every professional kitchen,” said a Cuisinewine spokesman.
The products are supplied in PET plastic bottles or Bag-in-Box with a non-drip tap and a handle and have a shelf life of 15 months.
Cuisinewine cooking wines are made with DOC recognised grapes, Tempranillo for the red and Pardina for the white, and go through an ultra-filtration process to reduce their alcohol content. The cooking spirits are made from traditional distilled spirits.
