GuYueLongShan Plans to Build Yellow Wine Industrial Park

 Zhejiang GuYueLongShan Shaoxing Wine Co., Ltd. (SHSE: 600059) plans to build a yellow wine industrial park in the Paojiang New District, Shaoxing, eastern China's Zhejiang Province, in a bid to strengthen the main business and enhance its leading position in company size, profits, brand, and technology.
After being operation, the project, which is designed to cover an area of 180mu initially, will change and upgrade the tradition yellow wine industry in terms of management mode, quality inspection, energy saving, and environmental protection.

Principally engaged in the manufacture and distribution of yellow wine, GuYueLongShan gained operating profits of CNY 97.935 million in the first six months of 2008, growing 42.46% from the period of 2007.

Net profits reached CNY 75.1324 million, jumping 62.12% from a year earlier, and basic earnings per share stood at CNY 0.202. As of June 30, 2008, the company had total assets of over CNY 1.706 billion, or net assets of CNY 3.31 per share.
