Sick as a Dog: Labrador Drinks Two Casks of Medium White Wine

New Zealand: A two-year-old Labrador named Roxy has ended up with a five day hangover after she slurped her way through two casks of Mystic Ridge medium white wine - a total of four litres - on Wednesday night.

When Roxy's owner found her she could open her eyes but wouldn't move. She was taken to the vet and treated with fluids overnight. According to the vet his clinic smelled like "a student flat on Saturday morning" the next day.

By the next morning Roxy was moaning but was able to eat something. When she tried to jump up she fell over backwards. On the way out of a clinic she walked straight into a tree. According to her owner there was no sparkle in her step until Monday.
