Cape of Storms wreaks havoc in wine lands

Recent bad weather has flooded much of Robertson and Montagu this week, making vehicle access via road to both Wine lands towns virtually impossible. Vineyards have been badly affected and valuable topsoil has been washed away.
Graham Beck Wines Madeba farm provided these images of their Robertson farm. They said one part of the farm has been washed away under the railway line. This is the first time since 1981 that both the Kogmanskloof and Breede rivers have both flooded at the same time.
