Year after year, the Crémants de Bourgogne from Bailly Lapierre grow in fame thanks to investments in the never-ending quest for quality.

The 2007 vintage at Caves Bailly Lapierre was marked by the start-up of new wine presses; these were installed with the aim of processing the harvest faster and giving greater capacity regarding the selections... logical choices that are in phase with the diversity in style of sparkling wines from Bailly Lapierre.

There is no doubting the success encountered by the Bailly Lapierre brand: almost a million bottles sold in 2007.

Beyond the necessary technical investments, we must bear in mind that the true character of Bailly Lapierre sparkling wines is born in the vineyards and the ageing cellars.

The 2008 vintage therefore launched a new episode in the drive to assert the style of Bailly Lapierre sparkling wines with the arrival of an oenologist.

At 32 years old, Sylvain Martinand has had the good fortune to be able to work and train in prestigious wine houses across France and abroad. His rich and eclectic career, coupled with an inquisitive, demanding nature and reinforced with a quest for progress should lead to yet further fine-tuning in the expression of Bailly Lapierre sparkling wines and consolidation of their respective personalities. More than ever before, Bailly Lapierre is looking to release the richness of the grape varieties and the character of the Burgundy soils. Look forward to experiencing these qualities in Blanc de Blancs, Blanc de Noirs, Rosé, Pur Chardonnay, Pur Pinot Noir, Harmonie, or in the Exception range with Nature, Exquise and Brut Intense.
