City Collide-A-Scope Event To Feature Readings, Wine Tasting

Collide-A-Scope, Asbury Park’s new coalition to preserve the city’s vibrant art scene, will feature a variety of happenings including video clips, readings and a wine tasting at its next event, Fri., Nov. 21.


The brainchild of the Asbury Park design and marketing company M Studio and the Arts Coalition of Asbury Park, the November Collide-A-Scope event is sponsored by the Asbury Park Chamber of Commerce.


Maps and schedules will be available the night of the event.


Based on a selection of events, guests can conduct their own art tours, or pick and choose which venue they would most like to attend.


The events will include an ArtsCAP wine tasting at Mattison Park with artist Joe Borzotta.


A night of 101 Prints – local, national and international artists – at the Crybaby Gallery on Cookman Ave.


Video installations by local Asbury Park artist Susan Pellegrini at the Crybaby Gallery on Cookman Ave.


Betsey Regan of Middletown and Mary Copper of Fair Haven at the Paint Place on Bangs Ave.


DexDance performance featuring improvisational dance in 20-minute increments based on a structure created by the company at the Shoppes at the Arcade on Cookman Ave.


Curated art tour with November’s special guest at the Cry Baby Gallery to begin at 7 p.m. on Cookman Avenue


Novelist Clint Miller, Jr. will read from his novel, “The House Where Charlie Lived” at Paranormal Books and Curiosities on Cookman Ave.
