Beaujolais Nouveau Released In Shanghai

November 20th 2008 is the day when the wine Beaujolais Nouveau is released to the world.  Unlike past years, people taking part in the arrival parties held in Total Rich Fun in Shanghai this time also included common consumers.

The arrival parties in the passing years mainly included a VIP tasting time and some activities held in bars and restaurants, while this year common consumers were brought to the front. For many common consumers, Beaujolais Nouveau is a brand-new concept.

At the party, they had the chance to taste the wine Beaujolais Nouveau and the delicious food while enjoying the live musical and magic performance and getting lost in the French passion. If needed, they could buy a whole glass of wine and enjoy their tasting time.

It is said that the imported Beaujolais Nouveau in 2007 has accumulated to 40.8 kilolitres, which is about 54,000 bottles. What’s more, since Beaujolais nouveau rosé was released in 2006, the sale experienced a steady growth and it is estimated that this year the sale could climb to over 500,000 bottles.
