Partiers plonk into wine pool

THESE vino-loving bathers have taken their boozy party to another level – and plonked into a pool of red wine.

They’re making a splash to celebrate the arrival of this year’s prestigious French Beaujolais Nouveau in Japan.

The popular tipple has a massive following around the world, and the Hakone Yunessun spa resort, located southwest of Tokyo, laid on a unique knees-up to give their guests an early taste of the 2008 variety.

As revellers frolicked in skimpy Speedos and bikinis, here’s hoping the only bits floating in the wine were sediment chips from oak barrels.
