Demand for an immature wine is rare, but not when it comes to Beaujolais Nouveau, the 2008 harvest, which is available starting today. Fermented for just a few weeks, this fruity, sugary wine from the Beaujolais region is traditionally consumed immediately, but some prefer to savor the sweetness in the spring, when the warmer weather complements a lighter wine.
