Increase in tourism boosts South African wine sales abroad

The increase in tourism to South Africa is boosting the sale of South African wines in the UK, according to research done by London-based companies SA Wines Online and Southern Africa Direct.

SA Wines Online, an online retailer specializing in selling South African wine to the UK market, found that the large majority of their customers have either visited the country or have friends or family there.
