Shandong Province Boosts Its Wine Tour

On 19^th Nov, Shandong Province Tourism Administration and Shanghai CTRIP website signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement in a joint effort to explore its rich tourism resources.

 

According to the agreement, first breakthroughs will be made in promoting its seashore, golfs courses, hot springs and wine chateaus. The emphasis of 2008 will be laid on golf tour. In 2009, the focus will be switched to hot springs and wine chateaus.

 

In addition, both sides have agreed to develop Chinese Culture Tourism represented by Confucianism. That will include Culture and Education Trip aimed at teenagers, Traditional Chinese Culture Management Training directed to enterprise professionals, and Chinese Culture Root-Seeking Trip catering to foreigners and overseas Chinese.

Du Jiang, Vice Director of China Tourism Administration, highly praised this promotion model between tourism administration and leading tourism corporation.
