Christmas Champagne Taste Party held by CIVI

On 5th, December, Christmas Champagne Taste Party was held by CIVI in the Friendship Hall of The Chinese People’s Association for Friendship with Foreign Countries. Winter in Beijing is cold, but it is as warm as spring in the Friendship Hall. Everyone enjoyed each glass of champagne.

Since its appearance in the 17th century, champagne is always associated with happiness, festival and celebration, which is indispensable for to-together among friends and date between lovers. On Christmas eve, in particular, champagne appears in various celebrations.

During this party, CIVI carefully selects 5 kinds of champagne for taste, each kind of which has distinguished flavor and fully represents the diversified style and graceful charm of champagne.

CVIV specially invited such wine experts as Li Demei to play interactive game with guests. Through practice and with comment from experts, guests further understood the difference between champagne and sparkling wine.

Wang Wei, representative of CVIV to China also introduced the newly-published pamphlet named To Teach You to Taste Champagne and grandly presented the new LOGO of CVIV in 2009.
