Wine tasting and open house in Whitethorn this Saturday

Holiday/winter solstice festivities include a wine tasting with Whitethorn Winery and open house at First Fig Gallery, Whitethorn Construction Holiday room and Caffe Dolce.

Shop for gifts from Mary O’Brian’s hand knits, Charlotte and Kent Griggsmiller’s stained glassware and much more at the Holiday room at WTC. First Fig Gallery will star Kathy Orcut’s colorful mosaic work, from mirrors to stepping stones to bird baths. You will also find Lela’s textile art and more. Caffe Dolce will serve coffee and treats. Tasha’s fabulous wines will be available for tasting at the winery.

This event will be on Saturday, Dec. 20, from 1-5 p.m. First Fig Gallery is located at 545 Shelter Cove Road, inside the Whitethorn Construction complex, 14 miles west of Redway. A sign will be posted at the gate of the entrance.
