Release: Fetzer Vineyards & Brown-Forman Contribute $15,000 For Ukiah Alex Rorabaugh Center
Hopland, Calif. (Dec. 18, 2008) -- Christmas is a little brighter around Ukiah's Alex Rorabaugh Center as Fetzer Vineyards and parent company Brown-Forman combined to donate $15,000 for the ARC, home to the Boys & Girls Club of Ukiah and an important resource widely used for community gatherings.
"The ARC is a much-needed asset that plays an important part in the culture of the region, particularly for children," noted Tim Nall, Vice President, General Manager Wine Operations for Brown-Forman and Fetzer.
ARC's Richard Shoemaker accepted the donation during Fetzer's annual employee holiday gathering, presented by Nall and Fetzer VP and General Manager Cindy DeVries.
Earlier this Fall executives from Brown-Forman toured the community, visiting with local community leaders about opportunities and needs, and came away impressed with the work of the ARC.
