MANCHESTER – Whether you like chardonnay, sauvignon, merlot, malbec or anything in between, you'll find it at the sixth annual Winter Wine Spectacular to benefit Easter Seals N.H. To accompany the eclectic selection of more than 1,200 varieties, dozens of winemakers will be on hand as well as fabulous food from your favorite local restaurants.

Thanks to the generous support of N.H.'s local wine brokers, the Winter Wine Spectacular will attract nearly 1,500 people and feature more than 1,200 distinctive wines from around the world Thursday, Jan. 29, at the Center of New Hampshire Radisson Hotel in Manchester from 6-9 p.m.

Wine experts from around the world will be on hand with a large selection of their vintages for you to sip from your own Riedel Crystal stemware, sponsored by Porsche of Nashua. This is a unique opportunity to learn about wine from the experts. Wine makers who will be in attendance include Michael Mondavi, Adam Lazarre, Philip diBelardino, Adrian Barberis, Mark Neal and Anthony Truchard and more.

There is limited space available in "The Riedel Difference" seminar in which attendees will discover how the shape and style of a glass can truly make a difference in how the wine tastes by sampling incredible wines during the seminar. Tickets for the seminar are $85, which includes the cost of stemware.

Tempt your taste buds with dishes from the Bedford Village Inn, C.R. Sparks Restaurant and Bar, Hanover Street Chop House, Common Man, Van Otis Chocolates, Richard's Bistro, Piccola Italia Ristorante and more.

The Winter Wine Spectacular is presented in collaboration with the New Hampshire State Liquor Commission's Wine Week 2009, which includes a full week of wine excitement throughout the state, including a Wine Week seminar hosted by Kevin Zraly on Wednesday, Jan. 28, at C.R. Sparks with a portion of the proceeds benefiting Easter Seals. For details on Wine Week 2009, visit www.nh.gov/liquor/wineweek.

Easter Seals is committed to providing exceptional services to ensure that all people with disabilities or special needs and their families have equal opportunities to live, learn, work and play in their communities. Easter Seals provides services to nearly 29,000 children and adults throughout the state.

Back by popular demand to this year's event is the Bellman Jeweler's Cellar Select Room, which offers the opportunity to sample a variety of distinctive, high-quality wines and to qualify to win a $1,000 value door prize. A very limited number of tickets are available.

The evening's silent auctions, sponsored by Wieczorek Insurance, will feature a variety of items in all tasting rooms. There will also be a raffle for the "Ultimate Towers of Wine." Tickets for the Grand Tasting are $60 per person and $120 per person for the newly expanded Bellman's Cellar Select.

To purchase tickets or for more information, call 1-888-368-8880 or visit www.eastersealsnh.org. Complete lists of participating restaurants, winemakers and auction items are on the Web site.
