PARENTS of pupils at Rupert House School in Henley raised ,500 for charity by selling mulled wine during the town’s Christmas Festival last month.
Emma Smith and Emma Jackson sold 1,000 glasses of wine made by fellow parents Justin Bowater and Jeremy Buckler.
Mrs Smith’s daughter Ellie and Mrs Jackson’s daughter Polly, both seven, presented a cheque to the Chiltern Centre for disabled children.
Mrs Jackson said: “The stall was organised by parents and all the drink was donated by parents. We have to thank Eventuate who let us borrow a pair of water boilers. It was a huge help.”
Jo Roberts, of the Chiltern Centre, said: “The funds really make a difference.”
