Four injured in raid on Bolton wine bar

FOUR drinkers were injured with a machete during an alleged robbery at a Bolton wine bar.

The customers received the non-life-threatening injuries at the Firefly wine bar in Chorley New Road, Bolton, at 3am on Saturday.

A 31-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man have been charged with armed robbery and four charges of wounding.

They are due to appear at Bolton Magistrates Court today.
