Voters decide Purple Toad Winery can sell to public

PADUCAH, KY - Voters in Lone Oak precinct 1 voted today to allow a local vineyard owner to sell to the public. The final tally was 210 in favor of allowing the sales, and only 37 against it. Purple Toad Winery has been selling to distributors, but will now be able to sell wine to the public from their location on South Friendship Road. The votes were cast using the new E-scan machines, which leave a paper trail of all votes cast.
