Gregory is the sales manager of French V.O.G company’s branch in China. He specialized in international wine business in the university and found his jobs in wine trading companies after graduation. China has been the country that his strongest desire and curiosity go for. This very motive finds him a position in China branch of the company.

Gregory’s major work is to find business partners and China’s markets, which are being done in some major cities in China, such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Hongkong and Taipei for the moment. At the same time, they are also responsible for customers’ services.

“There are three cellars in V.O.G Company. So we are capable of meeting the huge demands of Chinese markets in the future and providing the best services to the Chinese customers. Besides, we’ll invite Chinese wine dealers to visit the wine production areas in France and taste our Vogus Wines.” said Gregory. It is the consensus of wine producers that China is a huge wine market in the world and wine will play a more and more important role in Chinese people’s life with the rapid growth of the national economy.

According to Gregory, V.O.G company and its brand Vogus Wines were established by the vinegrowers from Vauvert, Orsan and Gallarguesholds on January, 2007 in the hope of developing Languedoc and Roussillon areas and improving their notability in the world.

Vauvert initially called Posquières, was renamed into “Vallée Verdoyante” (Green Valley). From Latin "posca", the city evoked a wine-based Roman drink with famous refreshing and purifying virtues. The viticultural tradition goes back to the very start of the Christian era and has developed itself since 1939 with the association of wine growers for the cellar of Vauvert. Famous today for the Costières de Nîmes, the wine cellar continues vinifying its wines in the greatest tradition allied with the most modern techniques of wine making.

Orsan appeared in the texts in 1310 under the name of Orsanum. The presence of many clues such as ceramics of 4th, even 5th century before J-C, confirmed the presence of the Gallo-Romain Empire on its lands. From this occupation, the cultivation of olive-tree and vine appeared to gradually leave place to a vine in constant progression. The hillsides of Lacau massifs saw the extension of vines through and through. In 1640 in the texts appeared the quality of Orsan wines where the first shipments left "both to Avignon and to Rome". In 1929, wine growers met around the co-operative cellar to face the crisis which the profession went through. In 1948 its vineyard was recognized for its qualities and was classified as appellation CÔTES DU RHÔNE - CHUSCLAN. Thus since its creation, the cellar has been investing in its production equipment keeping in mind tradition and modernity.

Gallarguesholds its name from a military chief of 7th legion: Quintus Statius Gallus. Under the reign of the Roman Emperor Tibère (1st century before J-C), his villa was based on the hill where the village is located today. Still it was truly in 8th century that the village developed itself. The city was strengthened in 14th century and became a considered halt on the way of pilgrimage to Saint-Jacques-of-Compostelle. Then vine growing strongly thrived with talent, which was confirmed by the medals that the remarkably vinified grape varieties of Gallargues collect. Thus in 1929 the co-operative cellar of Gallargues was created becoming one of the first of this region. In the nineties, gradually vines are pulled out to be replaced by new improving grape varieties such as Chardonnay, Sauvignon, Merlot or Cabernet-Sauvignon. Modes of training of vine were modified. The whole vinification was overthrown in traceability and quality research of the product.
