BOULDER, Colo. — Boulder-based BookCliff Vineyards has relocated its winery to a 2,000-square-foot space in North Boulder, where it also plans to open a new tasting room.

BookCliff, which has vineyards in Palisade, closed its former downtown Boulder tasting room in December when its lease at 1468 Pearl St. expired, said owner John Garlich, who runs the business with his wife, Ulla Merz. BookCliff shared the space with Belvedere Belgian Chocolate Shop, which is moving later next month to 1936 14th St. and reopening in March.

Garlich and Merz moved the winery from the basement of their home to 1501 Lee Hill Road, No. 17.

BookCliff plans to open the tasting room on Feb. 14 and hold a grand opening for the tasting room and winery on March 7, he said.
