Grape growers in regional Australia will now benefit from funds made available through the Grape and Wine Research and Development Corporation (GWRDC).
A program launched by the corperation aims to identify priorities for individual grape-growing regions in Australia.
Exceutive director of GWRDC, John Harvey, says the program is aimed at getting research from the lab to the vineyard.
"It's all about taking the research out of the lab and making sure that people in regions can actually use it," he says.
"It's a program where we'll be putting greater resources to regions across the country, so that people can take advantage of the research they're actually buying."
