First Annual Around the World in 80 Sips Wine Tasting by Bottlenotes
Bottlenotes' inaugural "Around the World in 80 Sips(TM)" wine tasting lets wine enthusiasts explore the world of wine in their own backyard, with 80+ sips of wine from boutique and estate wineries around the world along with food pairings from local chefs and food purveyors.
WHY:
The event draws its inspiration from the recently released "Bottlenotes Guide to Wine: Around the World in 80 Sips" and comes on the heels of its nationwide book tour, which featured events attended by hundreds of wine enthusiasts sponsored by The W Hotels and Citysearch. Bottlenotes' large-scale tasting gives local wine enthusiasts the opportunity to taste wines from traditional and emerging wine regions around the world -- including France, Italy, Spain, South Africa, Napa, Sonoma, Israel, Lebanon and China -- as well as sample local and sustainable food and wine, participate in a raffle to benefit Spark, and hear a dynamic roster of speakers address home wine blending, great investment wines, and more.
