Local merchants say don't miss these wines during the Virginia Wine Expo this weekend.
Rappahannock Cellars Caber net Franc 2006: Medium to full bodied with rich, opulent fruit and bright cherry flavors with a touch of cedar and spice. Mild tannins on the finish.
Horton Norton : Rich color and an intensely fruity aroma of plums and tart cherries, with a spicy finish.
Horton Vineyards Viognier 2007: Smooth white with floral and citrus aromas and flavors of apricot, vanilla and honey
Cooper Vineyards Norton 2006: Full bodied with lots of rich, dark fruit and spice upfront with a smooth finish.
Jefferson Viognier: Aromas of fresh fruit with hints of peach, pear and apricot with a long finish.
