The 10th SIAL China will be held in Shanghai in May

            The 10th SIAL China will be held in Shanghai from 19 to 21 May 2009.
            SIAL China is the largest food exhibition in the region, and in
            2008, the 1,100 exhibitors from 58 different countries welcomed more
            than 27,700 visitors.
            The growth in the number of visitors to SIAL China (up 24% on 2007)
            mirrors the growth in the food market in this region. Plans for the
            2009 session are already well underway: Mexico has been announced as
            the guest country and Packtech- Foodtech, the international
            exhibition for food processing and packaging, will be held at the
            same time. The exhibition intends to focus on the wines and spirits
            sector, to highlight the growth of the bakery and pastry sector and
            to hold events such as the Cooking Trends Area and the OlivAsia
            competition.
