Foley Family Wines has finalized a partnership agreement with Kuleto Estate, a Napa Valley winery. In line with this deal, Foley Family Wines will acquire a controlling interest of Kuleto Estate, the brand and the winery parcel of approximately 22-acres of primarily Cabernet Sauvignon and other Bordeaux varieties.
According to Foley Family Wines, Kuleto will retain the remaining 700-acre property and provide grapes from the nearly 150-planted acres, as well as continue to be the face of the brand. Winemaker Dave Lattin, who has been at the winery for over seven years, will continue making the Kuleto wines.
Bill Foley, owner of Foley Family Wines, said: "The purchase greatly enhances the Foley Family Wines portfolio. I see this as a wonderful partnership with Pat, because we both share common interests in ranching, restaurants and fine wine. I look forward to the continued success of this remarkable property."
