Arts and Wine ... Join the tour

Welcome the return of spring! The Yadkin Arts Council, Allison Oaks and Allison Oaks Winery invite you to join us in celebration by following a unique trail of wineries and artists through the Yadkin Valley.

At theYadkin Arts Council office, observe “in progress” work by photographer Tom Wise, oil painter Sharon Grubbs, and watercolorist Helen Crews. Sample and purchase the delicious wines of Laurel Gray Vineyards and Benny Parsons Rendezvous Ridge Vineyard.

Across the street at Allison Oaks Winery, enjoy a glass of Chardonnay, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon or one of their unique blends while observing the glassblowing artistry of Jeff Wilson and the visual artistry of Debi Westbrook, Jan Atkins, Cassie Snow and Ed Camin.

At Flint Hills Vineyards and Century Kitchen in East Bend, watch a local blacksmith at work, enjoy award-winning wines and perhaps stay for dinner.

Also participating: Hanover Park Vineyards and Laurel Gray Vineyards.

In Surry and Allegany visit Foothills Arts Council and some of the 37 artist studios on the trail map. Sip wines at Brushy Mountain Winery and Grassy Creek Vineyards.

Glass blower, Jeff Wilson will impress the crowd with his glas blown jewelry and adornments. Wilson will be on of the vendors on hand at Allison Oaks Vineyard tasting room, on Saturday for the Art and Wine tours.
