Wine Institute adds 20 winery members

The Wine Institute, a California advocacy and lobbying group, has added 20 winery members and five associate members.

The San Francisco-headquartered group's membership now stands at 1,088.

The new winery members:


Napa County: Arkenstone Vineyards and Bravante Vineyard (Angwin); Venge Vineyards and Fortunati Vineyards (Napa).
Sonoma County: Black Kite Cellars (Healdsburg), Santa Rosa Junior College Winery (Forestville), Thomas George Estates (Healdsburg), Three Sticks Wines (Sonoma) and West Wines (Healdsburg).
San Mateo County: Clos de la Tech (San Carlos).
Santa Cruz County: Beauregard Vineyards (Bonny Doon).
El Dorado County: Madrona Vineyards (Camino).
Lake County: Sol Rouge (Kelseyville).
Mendocino County: Rivino Winery (Ukiah).
Santa Barbara County: Gold Medal Wine Cellars, Lafond Winery & Vineyards and Santa Barbara Winery (Santa Barbara).
San Joaquin County: Peltier Station (Acampo).
San Luis Obispo County: Pear Valley Vineyard (Paso Robles), and Salisbury Vineyards (San Luis Obispo).
The new associate members:

Conergy, a Denver solar system company
Heffernan Insurance Brokers, Petaluma, CA
Key Banc Capitol Market, San Francisco
Silverado Premium Properties, a grape grower, Napa, CA
Trion LLC, a branding and marketing firm, Los Gatos, CA
