Celebrate spring at Bellview Winery

BUENA -- Bellview Winery, 150 Atlantic St., Landisville, will celebrate spring from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday and Sunday with the release of its 2008 Dandelion Wine.

Admission and wine tasting, which includes all 26 of the wines offered, are free.

Visitors are encouraged to bring a picnic to enjoy with a glass of wine outdoors in Bellview's picnic area, weather permitting.

Owner Nancy Quarella also plans to bake and serve desserts chosen especially to pair with the Dandelion Wine.

Vineland graduate finishes training
Army Reserve Pfc. Melissa L. Cortes,daughter of Jacqueline Cortes of Orlando, Fla., and granddaughter of Hilda Garcia of Millville, graduated from basic combat training at Fort Jackson in Columbia, S.C.

She is a 2001 graduate of Vineland High School and received an associate degree in 2008 from High Tech Institute, Orlando.
