Australia is now the sixth largest exporter to Japan by volume (with a 5% market share of imports) and by value. Red wine accounts for 61.9% of the total volume followed by white wine with 28.7% and sparkling wine with 8.1%.
Wine Australia Japan is based in Tokyo and runs a range of Market Programs for Australian producers and exporters.
