Gallo gives $100,000 to 2 ballot measures

 E.&J. Gallo Winery joined other big business and labor groups in contributing to a slate of government reform measures that voters will decide in May.

The Modesto winery has chipped in $100,000 to a campaign for Propositions 1A and 1C, according to campaign finance records.

Proposition 1A would require the state to create a "rainy day fund" in flush years by setting aside revenue for savings. Proposition 1C is intended to enhance revenue from the state lottery.
