Jones of Washington wins wine accolades

QUINCY — Quincy vintner Jones of Washington recently earned several wine awards.

The winery's 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon earned the award for best cabernet sauvignon under $20 in Seattle Magazine's 2009 Washington Wine Awards.

Both the 2006 Jack's Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2006 Syrah earned gold medals, and the 2006 Merlot, 2008 Chardonnay and the 2006 Cabernet Sauvignon earned silver medals in the 2009 San Diego International Wine Competition.
