Earth Day Food & Wine | Santa Margarita, Calif.
This is the third annual Earth Day Food & Wine Festival produced by the Central Coast Vineyard Team, a Paso Robles, Calif.-based nonprofit that promotes sustainable wine growing in California's central coast. The event features about 50 wineries and 50 chefs and producers with a common commitment to sustainable farming. There will be music, dancing and a silent auction, too. Tickets at vineyardteam.org.

Sustainable Sips | New York and Brooklyn
On Earth Day, Appellation Wine & Spirits, a wine shop that focuses on organic and biodynamic wines, will pour samples of sustainable and biodynamic wines from France (apellationnyc.com). The Greene Grape stores will sample New York state wines in an effort to "think global, drink local" on Saturday and sample inexpensive organic wines on Sunday (greenegrape.com).

Fête des Crus | Chénas, France
