2008 new wine festival of Southern France' held in Shanghai

    At the end of the March, CIVL and Maison de la Region Languedoc Roussillon hosted ‘2008 new wine festival of Southern France’ in Shanghai. On this festival, more than 40 varieties of AOC wine from 12 fine wine producing area in Languedoc has been shown.

    Languedoc Roussillon is the largest producing area of fine wine in the world. Since 1980s', modern science and technology has been immerged into traditional brewing technology. ‘Southern France’, as the first regional brand of wine, includes 2800 wineries and more than 30000 producers from Languedoc Roussillon. the wine of Mediterranean style from this area are playing more and more important role in European and American wine market.
