Stephen Brauer, a former executive at Beam Wine Estates in Healdsburg, has been selected to lead Foster's U.S. wine division.

Most recently, Brauer was the general manager of Pernod Ricard USA Wines.

Before joining Pernod, the London native was the chief marketing and strategy officer for Healdsburg-based Beam Wine Estates, the former wine division of Fortune Brands.

Brauer was involved in the integration of Fortune's Peak Wines division and the U.S. wine operations of Allied Domecq.

As head of the Napa-based Foster's Americas, Brauer will be responsible for several California wine brands, including Chateau St. Jean in Kenwood and Beringer in Napa.
