Cosentino Winery has extended its tasting room operations from the Napa wine area of Yountville to a new tasting room in Lodi, which has its own appellation.

The new operation will feature Cosentino’s full line of wines, including their Napa labels, the company says.

“We’ll offer a broad spectrum here, dozens of our unique varieties made in the Lodi and Napa regions,” says Cosentino founder and executive winemaker Mitch Cosentino.

“Having all their wines, including those from the Napa area, at their new tasting room is a first for Lodi. It speaks to the kindred nature of the Lodi-Napa relationship; we’ve been selling grapes over there for generations,” says Mark Chandler executive director of the Lodi Winegrape Commission.

Mr. Cosentino made his first wines in the Lodi region at a facility across the parking lot from the new tasting room on East Woodbridge Road.

The Cosentino tasting room opened April 1 and will follow with a grand opening in May, as a part of a prelude to Cosentino’s 30th anniversary next year.
