Wine-tasting, auction event to benefit Cal Poly scholarships

POMONA - Cal Poly Pomona will be the host to the Southern California Tasting and Auction event on May 3 to raise funds for scholarships at the university.
The event will be from 1 to 5 p.m. in the picturesque setting of the W.K. Kellogg Commemorative Rose Garden and the Aratani Japanese Garden on the campus.

Guests will savor wines and cuisine samples from some of Southern California's most popular restaurants, as well as enjoy musical entertainment.

There will also be silent and live auctions to win wines, dining experiences and special Cal Poly Pomona-oriented packages.

Tickets are $100 each, with two or more $75 each. The event is for those 21 and older.
