Tomahawk Mill Winery holds wine tasting
A live band performed for the crowd of approximately 20 guests who came to the idyllic property of Tomahawk Mill on Saturday afternoon to enjoy tastes of white wines, red wines and mead directly from the barrel, siphoned out for sampling by Corky Medaglia, who owns the vineyard along with his wife Nancy.
Vidal Blanc, Riesling, Tobacco Road Blues, and Sergeant Anderson’s Red and others were among the spirits provided to guests, who were invited to explore the vineyard, the mill and the pond while enjoying wine from embossed glasses provided with the entrance fee of $15. Cheese and other light hors d’oeurves were offered in compliment to the wine selection, and t-shirts and home decor for wine enthusiasts were available for purchase.
