When will alcohol sales start in Lubbock?

LUBBOCK, TX (KCBD) - When will Lubbock get new beer, wine & liquor sales?  Lubbock County voters approved two alchol questions on May 9th. 

To get some perspective we can look back almost three years ago.  Wolfforth had a beer & wine election November 7th 2006.  The first sales were January 29th 2007.   So, that's 83 days between election to bottoms up.

Our news archives do not indicate any delays due to lawsuits in that situation.  But remember, there is a pending lawsuit concerning Lubbock's zoning of businesses that sell alchol.
